The Holly Fairies
Wherever holly grows thick around the edges of the garden, Pip and Bram are rarely far away.
The pair are responsible for guarding the garden against troublesome spirits, wandering goblins and anything else carrying particularly unpleasant magic. Fortunately, they take their responsibilities very seriously.
Unfortunately, they also find them extremely entertaining.
Rather than simply chasing intruders away, Pip and Bram prefer a more creative approach. Missing shoelaces, mysteriously tangled paths, berries appearing in inconvenient places and an unexpected branch catching the back of a coat are all considered perfectly reasonable defensive tactics.
They rarely play tricks on anyone without good reason. In fact, they are fiercely loyal to those they protect.
But anyone arriving with cruel intentions may discover that the garden itself suddenly seems determined to make their day rather difficult.
To guard the garden’s boundaries, protect its inhabitants from troublesome magic and make life very difficult for anything arriving with bad intentions.
