The Cherry Blossom Fairy
Mira is never in a hurry.
While other fairies rush between flower beds and garden paths, she is often found sitting quietly beneath the blossom trees, watching petals drift through the air.
She believes that beautiful moments are easily missed when everyone is too busy thinking about what has already happened or worrying about what might come next.
Mira teaches the younger fairies to notice small things: the warmth of sunlight on their wings, the sound of leaves moving above them, the scent of flowers in the breeze and the feeling of simply being exactly where they are.
Cherry blossoms do not remain for long, but Mira does not find this sad.
To her, their short season is what makes stopping to notice them so important.
