Marnie
The Pumpkin Fairy
Marnie wakes with the first pumpkin flowers of the season and does not rest again until the last pumpkin has been gathered from the garden.
Her job is to watch over the harvest, keeping an eye on swelling fruits, tangled vines and the changing weather. She has a particular talent for noticing what others overlook; an extra pumpkin hidden beneath a leaf, a handful of seeds worth saving, or enough ingredients left in the cupboard to make one more warming meal.
Marnie believes abundance is not always about having more. Sometimes it is about recognising what is already there and finding a way to make it stretch a little further.
As autumn approaches, she takes great delight in pumpkin picking, hearty cooking and watching humans prepare their homes for colder days.
To watch over the pumpkin harvest, protect the growing fruits and make sure nothing useful is overlooked or wasted.
