Maisie

The Daisy Fairy

They represent Joy

Maisie is often the quietest fairy at the edge of a gathering. She prefers to watch from behind the daisies until she feels certain she is welcome. But once she does, it is almost impossible to keep her still.

She invents tiny games between the flower beds, races beetles along garden paths and persuades even the most serious fairies to stop working for a while and play.

Maisie believes play is not something humans should leave behind as they grow older. To her, silliness, curiosity and laughter are just as important as responsibility.

Whenever someone stops to make a daisy chain, dances when nobody is watching, or laughs until they forget what they were worried about, Maisie considers her work well done.
